“Indulge in Purpose” to celebrate the first day of Summer and raise fun(ds) for ROSIES
WHAT: Family and friends join ROSIES for food, music, and fun! Dance the night away to live music, excite your taste buds with exotic flavors from LA’s best food trucks, snap some shots with your squad at the photo booth, and participate in an interactive community art project.
The event is hosted by ROSIES , a social enterprise that designs jobs to engage our customers with purpose and empower our diverse abilities*. ROSIES uses this term to promote an open and positive approach to working with colleagues, including those with disabilities. We focus on ability – the expertise, potential & personal qualities that a person can contribute to the job they are being hired for.
WHY: True community is built together. We invite everyone to join us in running the bus this Summer. We have lined up vendored events with the LA Rams, the O.C Fair, Levitt Pavilion Concerts, and many more.
We welcome everyone in Los Angeles and beyond to share any time, treasure, or talents to support us during this exciting journey. We want everyone to celebrate their own diverse abilities and when they leave to be able to say “I run the bus!” It takes every one of us to make it happen.
